Newport Oregon

Newport is another town along the Oregon coast. We visited the light houses in the area and had a nice seafood dinner along the bay front.

Fort Stevens Oregon

While staying at Fort Stevens State Park, another one of Oregon’s great state parks, we visited the fort and took the Army Truck tour.

The Columbia River Gorge Oregon

The Gorge is magnificent. We did not expect this and were treated to a beautiful drive along old highway 80 and 7 great waterfalls.

Clearwater River Idaho

This river is appropriately named. It is crystal clear and runs from the east Idaho border to the west border along US-12.

Missoula Montana

Everything you need is in Missoula. We got a chance to stock up on supplies and I even bought a new camera after mine expired while in Missoula.

Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park is the first National Park. A short time ago we visited Devils Tower which is the first National Monument and now we are at the first National Park. There is not much I can say about Yellowstone that you probably haven’t heard before but it is definitely one of those placed that you just have to be there to appreciate it.
